Sorry if it took a while to post part 2! Had a lot going on...
After Binondo church we were supposed to go back to recto to catch the bus bound home. But when we rode the trike I realized the streets we were passing thru is near Intramuros. Then it hit me, there are lots of churches in Intramuros like San Agustin church and:
9. MINOR BASILICA AND METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (MANILA CATHEDRAL)
Location: Sto. Tomas, Intramuros, Manila, 1002 Metro Manila
I have been to this church numerous times already and it never ceases to amaze me. Whenever I think about the history of the church it really fills me with delight. Being in a place that has survived time and war is truly a remarkable experience.

oohhhh new update! new format!
After this was a quick walk towards the next church.
10. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH CHURCH OF SAN AGUSTIN (SAN AGUSTIN CHURCH)
Location: General Luna St, Intramuros Manila, Metro Manila
This is quite near the Manila cathedral. When we got there there was a sign that said there is a visita iglesia happening inside Intramuros itself. That is what we are planning to do next year! One of the oldest churches in Manila, you can actually see how old it is just by looking at your foot. I didn't realize this until then that the floor is full of marble "Lapidas" (sorry na di ko alam english nun eh. Hahahaha" Also the walls. (tombstone ba? hahaha di ko talaga sure)
(sorry if I am changing formats. Just trying it all out and too lazy to edit the others.)
After this we had one last stop in Intramuros which is:
11. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FR. WILLMANN CHAPEL
Location: Victoria De Manila, 1655 Taft Ave, Malate, Manila, 1004 Metro Manila
Located inside the compound of the Knights of Columbus is a quaint little chapel. Simple but elegant is my description for this chapel.
This marks the end of our Manila tour. (Concert lang hahaha) We headed back to Quiapos, boarded a bus bound home and stopped at the next church in EDSA which is:
12. THE SHRINE OF MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE (OUR LADY OF EDSA)/(EDSA SHRINE)
Location: Ortigas Center, Quezon City, Metro Manila
I am not new with this church. At all. In fact when I was doing my internship in Valenzuela this was one of my stops before I got to work. I'm always amazed by the giant statue of mama Mary everytime I pass by.
Then we took a jeepney ound for rosario church.
13. SANTO ROSARIO DE PASIG CHURCH (ROSARIO CHURCH)
Location: Ortigas Ave, Pasig, Metro Manila
Located in the center of Ortigas extension (Don't take my word for it. feeling ko lang hahaha) is a humble church located beside the main highway. I think of all the churches we've been to that day, this was my least favorite. I am so sorry. But hey, if it brings together the people then it serves its purpose.
After this we headed to our second to the last church on the list which is:
14. OUR LADY OF LIGHT PARISH (CAINTA CHURCH)
Location: A., Bonifacio Ave, Cainta, 1900 Rizal
This church is the one mama Ria really wanted to visit. It's really near home and it's big! When we got there the mass for the washing of the feet already started. I wasn't able to take pictures inside as to not to disrupt the mass.
And finally we've come to our last stop on this Visita Iglesia 2018.
15. SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA PARISH
Location: St. Anthony subd. Taytay Rizal.
A stone throw away from our house. Walking distance, actually. This is the final church on our list. We lived in st. Anthony subd. when I was younger and this was our go to church. Also it is behind our school so it really is close. Mama Ria has never actually been here so it was nice for her to visit. The parish priest actually presides over Sunday mass at Walter Mart taytay which we regularly attend.
There you have it! That is the story of our VISITA IGLESIA 2018! Til next year!
